Comfortable within my surroundings, a friendly welcome and a fabulous building in immaculate grounds. The rooms were large in an older floral and luxurious style, all the staff were helpful, the bed was big and unpleasantly soft. The pool and jacuzzi were great and very relaxing, breakfast was also very disappointing, our waiter christopher was very caring too my wife.

The location looked very romantic and once again we were let down, at a cost of £40 each for 3 courses was reasonable value, every member of staff were courteous, friendly and professional. Mitre dining room was excellent, the food was superb and the service was impeccable, the Spa was very well run and the treatments were truly marvellous.

The rooms are very comfortable and the views are spectacular, the hotel is the best we have stayed in, food in the Lodge is very good.
The service is shockingly bad, the large awkward wardrobe encroached too much on the bed and space around, the spa is fantastic albeit a little expensive.
