CuisinArt Resort & Spa

There is a bar and marketplace at Ku Hotel (which is where they are located, and no you should not consider staying there, great location but they missed the boat on everything else) so you don’t necessarily have to bring your own snacks.

It's a beautiful location, as most things in Anguilla are.

Their location is wonderful and it just feels so comfortable, you could sit there all night long.

There will be somebody from the resort waiting at the airport to great you, but they merely load you into a taxi which will cost you $22-30 (depending on your tipping philosophy) to get you to the hotel.

Arrival at the airport was easy - other than NOT having a Cuisinart rep greet us (which we were told to expect) we got a taxi and we were on our way!

Our son's sleep sofa was made up and at our bed our robes were spread out for us, the radio playing soft music, the bathroom recleaned and all towels replaced and any speck of sand in the room swept up.

WE booked a suite, and since we have 2 kids we were hoping for seperated area's, but it was just one big room w/ a sofa & TV at one end and a bed at the other.

The resort was beautiful, plush foliage, beatiful smell of gardenia and jasmine, when you walk,, beautiful beach, great rooms with balcony-very spacious, huge unbeleivable bathroom, king bed with den sitting area.

Our room, a junior suite on the second floor of building #7 was very large and clean with a comfortable bed and a nice sitting area.

Fantastic rooms (a great bed, huge bath), beautiful pool,, and what a beach!

Service at the Mediterraneo restaurant for breakfast and lunch was abysmal and the restaurant was not kept clean during dining hours.

In the evenings you had you had three choices : La Famiglia, the fine dining restaurant, Santorini ; or a “tapas” option at the main bar.

We walked down there in five minutes and we could eat at the restaurants,shop in the very expensive shops there,and then go back to our own little cottage with a galvanized roof at the Great House.

Anguilla has many renowned restaurants, and the CuisinArt's Santorini Restaurant is among the best.

Lunches averaged $25/person and 3-course dinners averaged $75/person at the better restaurants on the island (a continental breakfast is included in the CuisinArt's room rate).

The staff was extremely helpful from the front desk, to the concierge, to the bellman - very polite and courteous at all times.

The staff, from the front desk, to the bell service, to the wait staff at the restaurants was not as professional and attentive as we have experienced at other hotels/resorts.

The CuisinArt's facilities, including the spa, shops, restaurants, lobby, grounds, beach and pool, are extraordinary.

Upon arrival at the CuisinArt, the first thing that strikes you is the airy lobby with sweeping views of the resort grounds and the negative edge pool that appears to extend to the Caribbean Sea.

Also, visited the Spa, it was a wonderful experience and they have a great little gym.

High speed internet access, unfortunately not wireless.

The hotel offers guests the use of two computers, which have good high speed connections.

I have stayed at many properties on this unique island over the years, and this is immaculate, the most pristine gardens and landscape of any resort on this island, and rooms that were spotless.

The room service was incredible - whenever we made a mess & left the room, we'd come back and it would be clean again - like magic!

The Junior Suite was spacious, modern and spotless because housekeeping cleaned it (thoroughly) twice daily.

Cleanliness: The room was constantly clean, they were like the cleaning fairies.

Our room, although sparsely appointed, was very spacious and exceptionally clean thanks to their top notch housekeeping staff.
