Crowne Plaza Hotel Northwest-Brookhollow Houston - 休斯敦

Decent restaurants across the highway make a good location, my stay couldn't have been better and coffee/juice from the stand near the lobby.

I would not step foot in the swimming pool.

The room (526) was L-shaped and had a TV/armoire/dresser/coffee area on one wall (opposite the bed), a reading chair and foot stool in the corner, and a king sized bed with a night stand on each side.

The bed had a nice white comforter on it (which I always remove immediately upon entering a room) and the "triple sheet" bedding with a soft mattress cover, 4 plump pillows, a small satin pillow, and 2 European bed squares.

I wish that either was another TV so I could see it from the sofa, or that the room was arranged differently so I could see it from both the sofa and the bed.

Then I went to use the bathroom and the toilet didn't flush - the water kept going.

Unfortunately, the sofa is around the corner, so you can only watch TV from the bed or the reading chair.

The food in the restaurant was edible, but not the best--the cheapest thing on the menu was $11 for a stack of pancakes, hashbrowns, and sausage or bacon.

The breakfast buffet (ate there once) is good but very pricey - I think $14 when tip is included.

I ordered breakfast for between 8 and 8:15 am and it was delivered at 8:02.

Breakfast was about $11 including all service charges, and included 3 pancakes, 3 bacon, coffee and ice water.

Most other breakfasts were similarly priced.

Peter the Concierge was awesome as was the entire staff, the room was nice and clean.

I found the Reception staff in particular rude, unpleasant and generally unhelpful.

To their credit, this hotel does employee a security guard to patrol the parking lot 24 hours a day.

When I arrived the parking lot was very full, but I found a spot and lugged my luggage (maybe that's why it's called luggage!

All products were labeled as "spa" and seemed to contain some natural ingredients that are listed on the back of each bottle.

The wireless internet access is not lightning fast, but has never been down during any of my stays.

They are not as nice, have unpredictable wireless access and usually contain mosquitos.

The beds are usually comfortable and the comforters are newer and clean.

Overall, the room was a little bland looking, but was clean and had nice amentities.

I stayed in the Crowne Plaza Brookhollow for one night; the room was nice and clean and quite large, and the amenities were nice.

Also rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet is good.
