  I like the way they treated me the service was really faste the food was amazing you had of variety to chose from and i think its an excellent idea to stay there and its the best hotel in Maracaibo,Venezuela also I forgot to mention its rooms are wonderful all of them have nice view to the pool and the city.

  Well, I see the last review posted on this hotel is mine :) As much as I didn't like the hotel last time, I didn't have much of a choice - it's literally the only place to stay in Maracaibo on short notice with half decent prices. Surprise, surprise, this time I got one of the renovated rooms. I was about to rate it higher, however the few roaches I saw in my bathroom made me change my mind.

  I got one of the non-renovated rooms, while one of my co-workers got one of the renovated ones. If you stay in the new area, the hotel is ok, albeit overpriced.

  00 per night, which by international standards is a nice room, not in this place.

  The first night I arrived I requested upon entering the room a change of room. The room smelled like mold, had water filtration on the wall from the bathroom, the AC was not working properly. The other 3 rooms they showed me were in the same or worst condition, and the only solution offered was to transfer me to a room that will cost me $300 + a night. The manager promised to try to switch me to the new tower the next day, but when I went to the front desk to inquiry about the change he had left for the day and left a note that could not get me a room. I asked for the Manager in charge, but she told the attendant that she was busy and that no rooms were available. Everyday I had to call to get towels, the bathtub was moldy, the bathroom toilet did not work properly, the bidet was missing one of the handles of the faucets.

• Las habitaciones no se parecen a las del sitio web

  Vivo en EE.UU. pero nací en Venezuela. Siempre me habían hablado muy bien de este hotel y de la gente de Maracaibo. Es el mejor hotel y el más elegante de Maracaibo, pero por desgracia, en algunos aspectos no está a la altura de un 5 estrellas. La primera vez que entré en mi habitación me sentí engañado. En la página web se ven habitaciones muy modernas y elegantes, pero en la realidad los colores, los muebles y las alfombras les dan un aspecto muy anticuado. El baño estaba bien, todo de mármol (o azulejos de imitación) desde el techo hasta las paredes. El servicio es muy bueno, todo el mundo es muy amable. Cené en el bufé del hotel dos veces en dos días. El desayuno, que también es bueno, está incluido. El domingo fui a la piscina a tomar algo y a ver una actuación musical en directo. En mi opinión este hotel es de 5 estrellas por su interior, tan grande e impresionante. Sin embargo, las habitaciones son más bien como las de un hotel de 3 estrellas de EE.UU. Espero que os sirva de algo mi opinión.

  When I first walked into the room, I felt cheated. The website features a very modern and stylish looking room. The bathroom was nice with complete marble (or imitation tile) from floor to walls. They also include breakfast which was good. On Sunday I went to the pool and had some drinks and watched a live group / band. The rooms though, are more like 3 star hotels that you find here in the US.

  In reality, the colors, furniture and carpeting make the room look very outdated.

  Venezuela Immigration and customs personnel give foreigners hard time.

  The room was facing the noise street, full of taxi drivers in front talking all day long. The room was totally OUTDATED with ugly bathtub, old bed covers.
