Crowne Plaza Hotel Houston-Downtown - 休斯敦

Great downtown location and old fashionned hotel.

Great location, hotel fine and the staff was extremely attentive and helpful.

The Hotel isn't really special, but it is in a very good location, the room was nice and the staff was helpful and welcoming.

Cab fare from that hotel to Bush airport is $37.

I requested a Taxicab to take me to Bush airport; they instead loaded my luggage into a Town car and said it is a same price!

The touted "Temperpedic" beds seemed to be adequate but not great - but the bed linens were very nice.

Clean towels, complimentary soaps, body lotions, water bottles and most and more important a clean and very comfortable bed to rest after 12 hours shifts.

It's purpose is still somewhat of a mystery as it contained only a pedestal sink and a regular bathtub--not a soaking tub, not a whirlpool tub--and it faced the wall rather than facing the room.

It was quite difficult to watch any tv if you were laying on the bed due to the positioning of the armoire, and the tv didn't rotate.

This hotel is in a perfect location for my meetings and the bed is really comfortable.

One morning, we tried their breakfast restaurant, and that was a very bad idea.

There were a few restaurants withing walking distance, but the hotel also has easy interstate access as well as tunnel access for fast food options.

Breakfast was good, at best, but we also had a late check out of 5pm which was wonderful.

The restaurant on the second level is pretty expensive.

There are quite a few restaurants in the Market Sq, which is located about 1/2 mile from the hotel.

The front desk staff was very friendly, the room service was fast and the food was excellent.

The parking is all valet and it costs $19.

The best part was the complimentary shuttle to nearby attractions.

The Valet parking is only $12 on the weekend.

The staff there was awesome and the room was clean.

Room was spotless, service was decent -- food was good.

The rooms are clean, the food is so good.

Furthermore some of the staff members were helpful and efficient, our rooms were spacious and clean.

The only minus for me is that the decor is a little outdated for my taste, but the room was clean which is more important.
