  We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed the clean, large rooms and great location within Beijing. The hotel is one block away from a really nice shopping area and western fast food, as well as many local restaurants. The hotel's concierge was very helpful, and the lobby is beautiful. The breakfast was amazing, so if you can book your room to include breakfast, that would be great. Be sure to buy bottled water since the hotel only provides 2 free bottles per day, and bottled water from the local stores is very cheap, less than 1 US dollar each. The hotel has a very very nice indoor pool, large exercise facility, sauna, and steam room.

• The location was fantastic--near the Wangfujing pedestrian shopping street. The lobby was was very nice, all decorated for Christmas.

  Finally, apparently because of its location right above the restaurant, the hallway smelled of kitchen exhaust, which was just really unpleasant. On the plus side, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The staff was generally very nice; however, they did not appear to know that the fifth line subway was open (or how to get to it, even though it is very nearby) and it was not shown on the hotel's subway maps.

  Our room was on the second floor, directly above the main, Chinese, restaurant. The worst problem with the room was that it was always HOT.

  The hotel is located in Wangfujing street but it is a good walk to the main restaurant and shopping areas, so not quite as well located as the address made it sound.

  We were staying in the King club level and would have expected more VIP service. The room was a bit dated, but reasonably opulent. I am not sure I like the inward looking hotel rooms, where the windows overlook the central atrium and all can see me if I dont keep the windows shut.

  Rooms are not overly large but more than adequate, well-furnished, comfortable beds, with a good desk and very fast Internet service. The other hotel services are good, as is the location.

  The food in the lobby restaurant is OK, but the restaurant is over-crowded at peak times, and service then can be slow to nonexistent, although this isn't a disaster as most everything is buffet style.

  Strategic location near Wangfujing Avenue. Efficient service particularly by the staff in the lobby lounge and coffee shop. Many speak good English but not with the engineering and maintenance personnel. Overall though, the breakfast , location and the rooms make this a good value for money.

  I've stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, club level room. The hotel is pleasant, very conveniently located on the main shopping street and about 20 minutes on foot away from Tienanmen Square. Anyway, taxis are really cheap in Beijing, so even if you have to reach the financial district you won't spend more than 30 RMB: cheap indeed!

  Staff was welcoming, even though not very helpful. I was charged twice for a room I had already paid, just because my old credit card was expired.
