  Beautiful quaint villages and fantastic views. Furthermore superb value for money and loved the main house. The staff polite, lovely room and huge staircase to the panoramic garden terrace. Particulary the pillows very comfortable and excellent food.

  Poor choice, dirty appearance of the facilities.

  The drive is long and the location is very attractive. This place is amazing and main house is fabulous. The rooms are tiny and cheap, the restaurant didn't open 7. The pool is great as is the golf course.

  You drive through some lovely countryside, the great number of common areas and one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The building is so wonderful and the bathroom light are on the same double rocker. Food very good for bulk catering.

  On the drive up the long road its evident a lot is been demolished here and the spa area pool is warm. Also the hotel itself is a beautiful building and the main house is very grand - rooms are large. Windows didn't close properly leaving us.

  Location was important to us on this trip, considering the facilities available we also thought was good value and the house keeping staff were very polite. The service was excellent and attentive, also the room was lovely, also the food was very nice. Unfortunately the menu was less than impressive so we decided to eat elsewhere.

  The location was very good and from the minute we walked in the hotel was beautiful. The main house room that we had was very nice, the staff were all very polite and the bedroom in the Falcon Wing was fine for us. The breakfast was delicious, the dinner was excellent and the leisure facilities were easy to use.

  I enjoyed the location in the superb ground at heythrop Park, we were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and the main building was very nice inside. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was excellent, the food was really very good in the restaurant in the evening. Swimming pool was lovely.

  Some of the shared areas were very impressive and hotel was an original historic palace. The staff were very helpful and friendly, so the room was clean. The food was great, the pool itself was fairly nice.

  Wi-fi was only available from the main building and sufficient wine had flowed by the time to ensure that did not.

  Quiet location, the beautiful setting and the main building: an old country house. Attentive staff, gorgeous rooms and lots of lovely fluffy towels. Food very good and friendly dinner at Whisters instead.

  Beauty salon - all in all a great site caters for low, a fantastic setting and a beautiful building that is set in mature countryside - its looks wonderful. Maybe other rooms are better.
