Location really close to Pooley Bridge, the shops, bars and restaurants and the coast to coast cycling route. The rooms - well-appointed, nicely furnished with nice shower, kettle, for example.

The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. this place exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with excellent service.

Great food with lots of options. The location is amazing, right by the Scotland/England border in Cumbria, close to Ullswater and the Lake District. Also, the view of the hill is incredible! 🌄

The location of the bed and breakfast is fantastic, with beautiful garden views and close proximity to all the areas. The breakfast was gorgeous and delicious, and the homemade marmalade was award-winning. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Staying on the edge of the Lake District was fantastic, just a short walk from the shops, restaurants, and even the beacon tower. The room was spacious with modern amenities such as tea making facilities and good WiFi, and the bathroom was well-appointed. The owner was friendly and served a delicious breakfast with great coffee and served in an attractive dining room with guide books.

The room amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay including ironing facilities, complimentary toiletries, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even offered to drive me to a nearby restaurant when there was a sudden downpour. The breakfast served here was simply fantastic, with a wide selection of options and deliciously cooked dishes. my experience here was truly exceptional.
