Perfect for eco-conscious travelers who want to contribute to the planet, as long as they don't contribute to my buffet plate. The Premium Bungalow Waterfront View offers a view to the beach, so I can see all the people who are not staying here enjoying the sand. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, so I don't have to move much. The minimal interiors offer a refreshing experience, because who wants to see too many things when on vacation?

The spacious balcony or terrace in every room is perfect for spending all day, if not for the beach and delicious restaurant buffets. The recently renovated Premium Junior Suites offer magnificent views of the Aegean Sea and a feeling of contentment. The rooms have soft color tones, modern tiled floors, and all the amenities you need, including a flat-screen satellite television and mini fridge. The Premium Junior Suites have a comfortable double bed in the bedroom area and a sofa that turns into a bed in the living room. The Premium Superior Bungalows at Civitel Creta Beach are the ideal choice for a perfect stay in Heraklion. The Premium Superior Bungalow even has a cozy armchair perfect for relaxing on lazy summer afternoons and evenings. The brand-new Comfort Family Bungalow offers a comfortable double bed or twin beds, as well as a sofa bed in an open-plan style.

Personally, I found one feature to like less, but it's subjective. Some might still enjoy it.

The property was surrounded by palm trees and had so many fun activities. There were theme nights and entertaining shows that kept us entertained for hours. Mini polo and golf were also available, which made us feel like kids again. The best part was that our parents knew we were safe and well-looked after thanks to The Family Concept.

The only thing we wished for was more options for young party-goers. While the hotel had a lot of activities for families, we would've loved some more late-night fun just for us teenagers.
