The Marriott, while a little tough to find on Rhode Island due to detours, etc, was a great hotel, especially for the price.
I got Booked.net deal that was far less then the going rate but at full value this hotel is a find.
I got a really great price for this hotel in comparison to the other hotels in the D.
Definitely look into this hotel and see if appreciate a good value.
The location is great, the hotel is located in a quiet area of the city and the lobby is very nice.
Very convenient location near Dupont Circle with lots of restaurants nearby.
The location is in an excellent neighborhood for walking to the mall and the hotel itself is clean.
The nearest Metro is not particularly near either, which is a shame because the Metro is clean, cheap and efficient, but taxis were easy to hail from the hotel and from central DC.
It is in a bit of an off-center location, but taxis are plentiful and it is only a 15 minute walk to the subway.
I paid 229/night for room 518 -- which had two queen beds and a pull out sofa bed.
Great bed, nice little room and decent service.
Perhaps the beds are part of Marriott's upgrading of mattresses and bed-covers.
Room - We stayed in room 309, which had a King sized bed.
The room was a bit small but recenlty renovated with a very comfy bed.
We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant and regretted that there was no continental breakfast included, but this hotel is an outstanding site for the $94.
Nage, the restaurant, offers a wonderful breakfast for all guests and an even better lunch and dinner menu.
The restaurant in the lobby is fine for breakfast, the staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are quite large.
The restaurant is now open, but I am not able to comment beyond an acceptable breakfast at a typical price.
Downside: skip the restaurant for breakfast.
Hotel staff was helpful and polite, the service was absolutely wonderful, our room was clean.
The lobby is very nice, the daytime front desk staff are also helpful and friendly, my rooms both times have been very clean.

Kind of creepy pool area way down in the basement, the hotel is in a good location right on Scott Circle NW and drink vending machines in the lobby for a quick snack.
