The accommodations at Courtyard Virginia Beach Oceanfront/South were first-class. We loved the magnificent views of the beach and ocean. It was convenient to have the same guest room we booked online. The hotel is centrally located near nice stores, restaurants, and the ocean.

The hotel was a good home base for enjoying a very nice area, near the beach, great restaurants and the boardwalk.

The breakfasts served here are delicious and very good for the price of 11.99.

View and location

Flying bugs in the room, noise when TV is off, unsafe patio rails and handle broken door to patio.

The room was neat and top-notch, with amenities like hair dryers, shower caps, and towels included. The hotel's central location near shops, bars, and the beach made it very convenient. Staying in the Virginia Beach Boardwalk district was a great experience.

Stayed here for 3 nights and loved our choice. Outstanding service, although a few employees were kind of rude. The room was updated and enjoyable, offered a safe box, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a refrigerator. The cost was US$ 113

Stunning views, especially from the bars with railings to lean on - a definite bonus! 🌅

Area covenant to other places

Balcony cement looks like it was crack around fence.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and had a pleasant experience. The central location of the hotel was a bonus. The hotel is situated in a very nice area next to restaurants along the beach boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. The staff was superb and provided excellent service.

Laundry area out of service and no suggestions were given as to how long or option of another place to take my sons' uniforms.

The breakfasts were delicious and the service was helpful. The pool was heated here too. The hotel's location was great and incredible, right on the sea front with lovely stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect; close to the restaurants and walking distance to everything.

The staff was friendly for the most part. However, at breakfast which is a buffet that is not included, the waitress was appalling. She was rude,loud and abrupt. We had to ask for silverware, drinks on multiple occasions. When she did bring us coffee it was cold and she acted rudely when we asked for different cups. She yelled out to all the guests asking what we needed and if we were "ok". She messed up the checks of multiple tables, which was astonishing, since she didn't have to take any orders.I felt like I was in a diner being run by an incompetent sales person.

The front staff supervisor upon checkout gave me a hard Time with my Booked.net reservation / cost. He wanted to overcharge me and would not take my Booked.net reservation/cost. He said that your company was a 3rd party and he would not honor my Booked.net price. I had to call your customer service department, they in turn called him and then he honored the Booked.net guarantee price . He then lied and said that he suggested that I contact your customer service department which he did not .
