The hotel was beautiful, our room had a lovely view of the side of a building and the price was very reasonable.

I would only recommend staying here if you're interested in being close to the gaslamp area although I still thought the hotel was overpriced for what you get.

The location was great and all hotel staff were very friendly.
It's about 8 long blocks from the convention center ($10 taxi fare) and about 15 minutes from the airport ($15-20 taxi fare, depending on traffic).
It's one block from a trolly stop and a short taxi ride to many attractions.
The rooms vary in size from a little small( the room w/ the sofa) to average/ a little above average ( my room w/ a kind bed, comfortable chair, writing desk and amoire.
Front desk employees very friendly and helpful- one room was supposed to have a roll-a-way bed, but it had none and none were left.
Our room had king bed but the room itself small and besides having free Internet access had few amenities.
2 1/2 star" hotel and got a regular queen-bed room for $99.
The room was spacious for a standard room with a queen bed.
Restaurant very open (grand old bank lobby), I think a tad pricey, but not unreasonable, and food was not excellent, but good (choice of eateries a block or 2 away is overwhelming; stick to breakfast at the hotel, go elsewhere for other meals).
A nice on site restaurant/bar and great choice youre looking for a cool hotel downtown.
I didn't use the restaurant but there is one and the bar looked pretty active at night.
The hotel offers room service (which I didn't order) and does offers breakfast and dinner in the main lobby/bar area.
I found the breakfast buffet ($13) a good value as it includes a drink, fresh fruit, pastries, waffles and an omelette bar.
Overall, with the exception of the front desk staff, the service and accommodations were bad.
The service excellent, the staff at check-in was exceptionally friendly and the first room we stayed in was extremely poorly cleaned.
The only complaint is the inconsistent concierge (all staff are behind 3 old teller windows).
We didn't order any room service, but the maid-service was excellent.
Great atmosphere in the lobby, and tons of interesting features to look at, like the bank vault, the beautiful wood in the elevators, walls, everywhere.

The Hilton near sea world The Omni rooms were newer and shower area was clean.
Bathroom was clean, breakfast was really nice.
