The location was perfect for us, easy walking distance to the Freedom Hall, which we could actually see from our room.
Its a nice looking building, great location, modern looking, and the rooms are very nice.

We stayed at the Courtyard by the Airport for Derby this year and boy are we glad we did.
The noise from the airport was almost nonexistent.

We ate breakfast at the hotel, which was buffet style but you can order off the menu if you like.
In the morning, we had a great breakfast in the cafe downstairs.
There didn't seem to be many restaurants nearby, but we were in a hurry to get to the concert, so maybe we just didn't see them.
NO free breakfast, but coffee or tea service in lobby.
They had a huge party Thursday night with delicious food and drinks.
The service one morning wasn't that good because the dining area was overcrowded and there wasn't enough staff to accomodate everyone's orders.
The hotel was great and the front desk was friendly.

The front desk was friendly, even offering to run the shuttle bus up to the venue for us after it had officially finished running.
Plus, the hotel has nice ammenities ranging from the fitness room, pool and jacuzzi, lobby computers with internet access, lobby bar, breakfast dining room, free cookies at the front desk, and overall.
The pool was only small, but the kids enjoyed it.
There is a small indoor pool which we did not use, even though the kids begged to!
The service all weekend was wonderful and the room even smelled clean and fresh.
