Courtyard Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor

I chose this hotel, situated on the inner harbor of Baltimore, largely based on price and location.

I had stayed in inner harbor (YIKES$$$$$) times before and had decided to stay cheaper close to the airport for the weekend - but found this location days before the weekend and was psyched I did!

I definately recommend this location for a stay in Charm City.

Note: there are also two water taxi stops in the Fells Point Area (from inner harbor) so you have that option too and then you can easlity walk back to hotel.

You have a nice walk (about 15 minutes) to the National Aquarium, water taxis and the other amenities nearby.

The room was fine but small and the "upgraded" bathroom was clean but pretty bare-bones (no mini-fridge, one comfortable chair very close to the bed, which made it difficult to get in or out of bed on that side, harsh lighting in the bathroom).

Just came back from a Friday night get away at this hotel, My husband and I had a nice room with a king size bed, a sofa, desk and TV.

Other shortcomings were small, scratchy bath towels and low-end bed linens.

Our accommodations were really nice, room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The room was very clean and the bed was just right.

While resources within the hotel are limited (small breakfast-only restaurant, little bar, no gift shop to speak of) the WholeFoods market on the corner was a great convenience.

While breakfast is the only meal served on-site, local restaurants, those being several in nearby Little Italy, offer delivery to your room.

Restaurant on site for breakfast buffett (not complimentary) - we didn't partake - not with great local breakfast joints so close - but buffet looked pretty good.

00 each for a breakfast buffet that was OK but no better than the free breakfasts in similar hotels, we all concluded we would not have ordered had we been aware it was not included.

The restaurant does a fair to average breakfast.

We had asked for foam pillows since I'm allergic to feathers, and when we got up to the room, the front desk staff called to ensure that everything was OK and the foam pillows were there (they were).

Staff was very friendly and accomodating.

1) The rate we paid was only about $20 less than the full-service Marriott two blocks away.

There is a parking garage next door that has an elevator that leads directly to the hotel lobby.

The fourth floor is also home to a nicely landscaped patio section complete with an indoor pool and fitness center.

The attached parking garage was convenient but very expensive ($30-something for one night).

There is wireless Internet access, and there were supposed to be fridges/microwaves available for free, but they had run out the night I requested one.

The room was very clean and comfortable, offered a nice view of the harbor.

The hotel and rooms were attractive and clean.
