The ocean view upgrade was totally worth it; we fell asleep to the sound of the waves, so relaxing, man. The fire pits by the ocean, super cozy vibe for chilling out with a cold drink. The rooms were a bit warm, though; the fan didn't quite do the trick, but overall, the stay was solid 😊.

Exceptional gem by the cliffs! Room had stunning views, high ceilings, and cozy fireplace. Cliff walk and fire pits stole my heart. Breakfast variety was a treat. Pricey but worth it. A top pick on our Californian road trip!

The hotel had a central location close to the ocean & walking distance from nice restaurants. And we were right by the beach next to the town, and a retail outlet shopping place down the road.

Tastefully decorated and well-kept unit with a convenient decor. Central location next to the laundry area.

we love cottage inn by the sea. we come once a year. location and access to beach is very good. room decor was nice. fireplace nice. bed comfy. when we needed service, the response from staff was great. every time i called or stopped in, the front desk person was very pleasant. the safe was broken, and the engineer matt came quickly and replaced it with a good one. he was the hero of our visit. if it wasn't for his quick and good work, our stay would have been worse. he also brought our robes and a tub drain stopper which was missing. the room was spacious. the bathroom was ok. the best part is the location to the beach and the fire pit area. great views at sunset and very pleasant to spend an evening just relaxing. the check-in guy was amazing and gave great service and tips on where to eat out. facility was clean, staff very friendly. spa great and sitting area awesome. easy access and parking was good. the bed was very comfy and i liked having a ceiling fan. it was warm during out stay so we couldn’t use the fireplace but it is a nice touch. the location and view are great!

Thanks, I would definitely return here, loved this hotel. The place is upscale and clean, it offers good hot breakfast and brilliant location close to everything. King room is carpeted, has a good-sized bathroom. There is a microwave and a refrigerator. The property staff is incredible and exceptional.

The location is magnificent and the staff is patient. 25 minutes drive to the airport, it is located near the downtown area of Pismo.

The bathrooms are way too small.

Hotel's breakfast is good hot and plentiful with yoghurt, fruits and also boiled eggs.

Staff were absolutely courteous and efficient!

The hotel's location was beautiful and incredible, so close to the cliff with amazing ocean view, very peaceful and the beach and the beds.

The restaurant was magnificent with helpful staff who provide ideas for restaurants here, I had excellent dishes. Really enjoyed the comfortable interior. The location was stunning and the staff was really helpful during the whole stay!

The room at Cottage Inn by the Sea was amazing, modern, and had a big bed and a fireplace that added a cozy touch to the atmosphere. The fact that the room was close to the pool was a highlight for my 8-year-old grandson, who enjoyed it immensely.

The issue with the guaranteed check-in time was a bit off-putting. It was slightly disappointing to have to wait beyond the guaranteed time, as mentioned in the database.

We had reasonably spacious and huge room that was clean well maintained breakfast was adequate and available with the fan and patio plus full blinds.

The location is great and stunning and they have parking on-site.

I absolutely adored the charming, cottage-style decor and the serene ocean views from the outdoor deck. The hotel's picturesque outdoor areas were perfect for leisurely strolls and taking in the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, the accessibility for senior guests was greatly appreciated, with easy navigation through the general areas and comfortable seating available to rest and enjoy the scenery.

I wish there were more options for senior-friendly activities and possibly some additional assistance provided by the children of the staff to enhance the vacation experience for senior guests.

The rooms are brand-new and also pet-friendly. The venue is placed in a central position really close to the beach.
