Charming colonial oasis with garden and pool. Dated rooms, no bar/food. Overpriced but good staff. Owners and staff welcoming. Old building with character. Clean and comfortable. Located away from tourist areas.

Quiet, beautifully kept gardens and communal spaces.
The only thing we didn't like was the dinner. Our steaks were almost inedible.

It was a great stay, and the perfect hotel to discover Gran Canaria away from the overbuilt and touristic seaside resorts of the South. The decoration and building (old monastery) is really typical and reflects the architecture of the island. It's quiet, the rooms are nice, and not so far from Las Palmas. However beware of the location, it's not well indicated (direction of the golf); near an industrial zone, you might think you got lost but it's the right direction. And if you don't speak Spanish, well be patient with their English (not even trying French...) But overall, really enjoyed the stay! So if you're looking for crowds, discos, big hotels and beaches, you'd better avoid this one! :-)

I recently stayed at this beautiful 4-star hotel and I have to say, it was an absolute gem. The location is perfect, tucked away in a secluded area surrounded by palm trees and next to a golf course. The peacefulness and tranquility of this place is just what I needed. What's even better is that there is an excellent restaurant right next door, so there's no need to venture far for a delicious meal.
I would highly recommend this 4-star hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

During our stay at Cortijo San Ignacio, we were captivated by the old-world charm that permeated every corner of this delightful hotel. The moment we entered the courtyard, we were transported to a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of tourist hotspots. The 18th century manor house exuded elegance and sophistication, with its oriental carpets, antique furniture, and beautiful paintings creating a truly aristocratic atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the splendid little private chapel, adding a touch of grandeur to our experience.

Peaceful and idyllic spot for a romantic escape. The historical building had a charming feel, especially the original features. The breakfast offered a variety of options and the friendly staff provided excellent service.
The location was quite isolated, making it difficult to find entertainment without a car. the lack of WiFi in the rooms was inconvenient.

Nestled in the heart of a lush and serene locale, surrounded by towering palm trees, it's an idyllic retreat for golf enthusiasts. Restaurants in the vicinity provide plenty of dining options. The historic building's charm is reflected in the comfortable room and modern bathroom. The friendly staff's attentiveness and the traditional breakfast are top-notch amenities.
Some facilities like tea/coffee making service in bedrooms are missing.

We loved our stay at this hotel with its beautiful surroundings of palm trees and proximity to the airport. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of options in a charming dining room. The friendly staff provided great service and the hotel's cleanliness was top-notch. Parking was easy and the hotel had good facilities.
Not one thing.

The hotel had a beautiful setting designed in an old building with a charming décor and peaceful garden covered by palm trees. The staff was very friendly, and they always tried to help us even though they did not speak much English. The pool lounge was very lovely, surrounded by a pretty patio and comfortable outdoor furniture. It was situated in a convenient location, not far from the airport, and we could easily explore the Northern part of the island.
The hotel did not have a restaurant inside, which made us go outside for food except during breakfast. We had to travel a bit to find a nice restaurant, but the trip was worth it for the delicious meals. However, this can be inconvenient for those who prefer to eat on-site.
