Coronade Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Excellent location as it is situated at the GOLDEN TRIANGLE of the shopping area.

Facing the great view of twin tower and the location is the best selling point of the hotel as is located right at the center of shopping hub.

location is great to shopping & something to eat.

The location is excellent it was within 1K walking distance - quicker than taking a taxi - taxis wee very cheap though to be fair- of all the major sights- Petronas towers, China town The Menara Tower and the Sultan ABdul Ahmed Building.

Hotel got us a taxi when we were to leave for the airport and they made sure we knew the cost and got a taxi that used a meter.

The room was comfortable and the bed was well made & clean.

I booked for a deluxe room four months back, requested for a double bed & informed on late check in.

Checked in at 7pm, receptionist said only a room with twin bed available for that night as the hotel is full (even though we ALREADY PAID for it before we arrived) and promised to move us to a king-size bed better room the next day.

However when we first get the room, they give us twin sharing room while we asked for Queen/ king bed room.

Husband not happy, so we complained and asked for another room with king-size bed.

The Verandah restaurant served a good breakfast in the morning, buffet style, (free as it is in with the price you pay) and the evening it was good value for money food (about £15 to feed three of us!

The buffet breakfast was excellent and there were loads of choices - one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had, in fact.

The breakfast was OK and the bar downstairs (in the shopping complex) had some great happy hour offers and cheesy live music.

The next morning we had breakfast, in a very nice dining area, and the food was great.

Other than Breakfast nether ate in the hotel as you have so many great places to eat outside.

Reception staff were both unfriendly and very very unhelpful, the Duty Manager I think was trying to prove he was the most obnoxious man in KL.

I liked the large room, front desk staff was very accomodative during check-in and pleasant.

The Concierge and staff are very knowledgable about things to do, where to go and what to avoid!

The staff was very helpful and after I made a complaint at the reception about the room.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and the pool and gym were well equipped.

LoL The garden and pool was horrriblly dirty!

The lobby looked OK although it did show signs of aging.

Our room was a very clean and spacious one.

Bathroom also very clean and no broken items!

The room was really bright and clean with a good view of the city.

The bathroom was not very clean and the shower-head was broken.

This room was fine not great but clean, light and spacious.
