A well situated location witin walking distance for SMN Train station, i rated this hotel as very good to excellent and the staff were very kind and helpful.

Location knowledgeable staff clean friendly easy to find from Florence main train station no need for a taxi and the Hotel is well located in terms of its proximity to all the major sights in Firenze.

If you have 1 day free, Venice is within easy reach, we took 730am Eurorail which arrives right in Venice beside the Canal, catch a river taxi to St Marks and its all there.

We said something, and they moved us to a bigger room with a King bed and bigger bathroom on the 3rd floor.

Big bedroom and large enough bathroom, the room was quiet and dark - first place on our trip we got a decent night's sleep.

Bathroom was clean - but the bidet was directly across from the toilet (and not much room in between).

They do appear to be soundproofed from road noise, but other rooms showers and toilets were very audible from my room.

Only negatives were the bed was not the most comfortable and the air conditioning didn't get it as cool as we would have liked - but neither was a big problem.

Plenty of great restaurants in the vicinity as well and the breakfast consisted of a large continental style buffet.

Large breakfast room, as well as a bidet and they recommended a great restaurant.

Very polite Service, nice room and great variety of food for breakfast.

Their breakfast was filling in the American sense, not super fancy but it was free and filling if you are used to eating a hearty breakfast in the morning.

I also recommend a wonder restaurant near by called "Palo de Oro" (literally "golden balls"), good wonderful food!

The location was perfect, the staff was very helpful in finding tours for our one-day stay and the maid service was excellent.

Front desk pesonnel abrupt as opposed to friendly, the staff will topup the food is running low.

There are at least two small lifts available for use by hotel guests.

We were running late on arrival at Pisa (overbooking of shuttle bus to Florence, make sure you get your purchased ticket checked to guarantee a seat!

Mostly modern facilities, however the elevators were small and cramped and were very noisey.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was good as well.
