  A lovely old hotel in an area of outstanding beauty. It is a little out of the way but worth the effort. The hotel's restaurant supplied fresh local produce and the breakfast,sitting on the terrace overlooking the fast flowing river below was a highlight of our trip to Italy. Not a lot to do locally but there are a couple of decent tratorria in the village and Lucca a large town is only 25 minutes drive.

  Well worth the extra charge for a river view, the manager Roberto taking us to the station in his private car at our departure and the town has all the essential ias - lively bar. Great value for money, large parking lot nearby and wake up to the sound of rushing water. Useful to have a good restaurant right there and the owner is utterly charming.

  Next to beautiful river and great location. Very high quality, friendly staff and the owner is utterly charming. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable, the food too is indeed very good.

  Cosy in our room overlooking the river and good location close to main road. Additionally the hotel is charming, he downplayed his restaurant as serving onle simple fare.

  The overall area is a quiet, have made everything to make our stay enjoyable and the rooms have been upgraded to a high standard. Each meal will be nice expierance.

  The view from our comfortable river room was beautiful and i thought was good value for money. The staff was nice and owner made marmalade-must try. The bed was large, the best meal we had in 10 days of excellent eating across France.

  We loved the Hotel, very considerate staff and the manager was extremely cheerful and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable, the morning breakfast was always delicious.
