Corinthia Hotel Budapest - 布达佩斯

Hotel location: even though the hotel is centrally located, it is still about 25 minutes walk to the main tourist attractions along Danube River.

Regarding the location I found it a bit disappointing that the hotel was so far located from the river.

The location was convenient and very close to trams, which run outside the hotel and also only 5 mins walk from the underground system.

Also the taxi booked by the hotel to bring us to the airport cost over 50% more than the taxi from the airport but taxis seem to be a complete scam in general in the city.

We pre-booked one of the hotel taxis who met us at the airport and within 25 minutes of us stepping into the taxi, we had arrived at the hotel.

We were then shown to our room which was amazing, very large bedroom overlooking the main road, large bathroom with separate bath and shower, large lounge area with TV, sofa, chairs and a desk and a separate cloakroom with sink and a toilet.

This was an unexpected bonus and the room was massive (actually, an apartment with two rooms, great bathroom/toilet and additional toilet).

We did not eat in the hotel restaurant, but the bar and the breakfast room were terrific.

We only ate in the hotel restaurant once on our first night at the Rickshaw Restaurent & Sushi Bar, but the food was only mediocre and we found it to be quite expensive.

Food quality at breakfast, in Rickshaw and for a snack in the lounge bar in the evening was OK, but not up to international 5 star standards.

We also ate at the Rickshaw restaurant and had the breakfast buffet 3 mornings.

Excellent location, the 24hr room service offers high quality food and the staff was polite and helpful.

Indoor Swimming Pool, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Shower Room, Relaxation Room, Massage Room, Gym.

There was work being carried out to the spa when I was there but the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were open and were very opulent!

The spa had just opened the previous week, and we made use of the pool, jaccuzi, steam room and sauna everyday.

The suite was clean,spotless,great service.

The room is quiet and clean, the free access to the spa.
