Coral Princess Hotel & Resort Cozumel

Luis planned every detail for us including the food, the flowers, the ceremony location and set up, and the rehearsal.

The location is great for a walk into town.

If it weren't for the fleas, we would definitely go back to the Coral Princess, because the location, price/value is great.

Also, when you come to the airport and expect to take a taxi to your hotel you will be in for a surprise.

With 5 people, we rented a car from Avis when we arrived at the airport, and felt it saved a great deal over taxis.

The only ocean view studio rooms are part of the two bed-room suites.

ROOM: Actually, our room was more of a one-bedroom condo including a living/dining area, a kitchenette, a good-sized bathroom and an attractive bedroom featuring two full-size beds, a dresser, a TV hutch, a desk and two closets.

Rooms were pristine, bed comfortable, very small balcony in standard room.

We had the top floor penthouse with a kitchen, large living room w/ a pull out bed, lg bedroom w/king and two doubles in another room for teens.

Room had a huge king bed, and a TV with a good number of channels in English believe it or not.

We also ended up getting breakfast/lunch/snack food there which saved time & money over the hotel restaurant.

CONS: the onsite restaurant was OK for breakfast & lunch, but not really great for dinner.

The outdoor bar was great, food was good at breakfast.

Our only complaint about the hotel was the restaurant food, aside from breakfast, which we didn't think was that great.

We only ate at the hotel restaurant once, and the breakfast was very good.

Overall great staff that is willing to meet any of your needs, and nice rooms with a great maid service.

We had great service from the staff and waiters.

Room for Improvement: Front Desk Service, wait times, timeliness of maid service, towel policy.

The service in the bars and restaurants was generally quite good, but front desk service and timeliness of maid service were lacking during our stay.

The hotel elevators did not work so we had to take the service elevator each time and it was small and in very poor condition.

The two elevators do not work thereby leaving the options of the wore out service elevator or stairs.

The small pool or jacuzzi was not operational at all and the larger pools were cold and not heated the way they should of been on the colder days.

Rooms were clean, view was gorgeous (from our 6th floor balcony we could look down and see fish swimming in the ocean- that's how clear the water is).

The ocean view was stunning, and the room was bright, fresh and clean.

This place was simply AMAZING, the staff was all very accomodating and the rooms were super clean.

Room 916 was wonderful, the restaurant Buenaventura Terrice was suprisingly good and the facility was clean and bright.

Our room was very clean and had a small frig for us to use.
