Coral Mist Beach Hotel Christ Church

Situated on a main road, the location of the hotel made it so easy to get into the heart of town as well as St Lawrence Gap (Nightlife).

The hotel is in a good location; fairly close to the Gap, and right next to an excellent quiet beach.

A great location - easily accessible to all amenities with bus stops right outside, shops/bars/restaurants all nearby (including Just Grillin, Champers and Mojos).

A tip for the new visitor to Barbados - when you arrive at the airport and if you need Barbadian dollars, the closest teller machine is located as follows - exit baggage claim (into the taxi pick up area) and go to your right.

If you don’t elect this mode of transport taxis are reasonable prices as s the network of buses whether that be the government ones which cost if I recall 2 BDS and the local buses.

Studio room has a really large bed and the bathroom has a large walk in shower with hairdryer.

The room was a studio apartment with all cooking facilities, tv, a/c, all rooms have balcony that looks out onto the beach!

2 bedroom suite in new wing was fantastic and then had to move to 2 bed suite in old wing which was very good but not as good.

We had a ground floor one-bedroom suite that consisted of a large full kitchen, very large dining/living room with a work desk, and a large bedroom with a bathroom that had a shower only.

If only 2 of you - no point in taking one bed apartment as room plenty big enough & why be inside?

Service in the bar/restaurant was not that good, but there are plently of other bars/restaurants close to the hotel.

Dining - the hotel has a restaurant/bar which is ok for lunch - but to be honest in the 10 days we probably saw 5 couples dining there after 6pm.

We ate breakfast and lunch in the hotel restaurant a few times which was very good, the restaurant is quite small with more tables outside than in.

We ate in the restaurant a couple of times for breakfast and lunch and once for dinner, each time the food was really good.

The food was good, we liked the Polynesian Restaurant the buffet breakfast was good.

The rooms are kept spotless by the maids who provide a daily service, reception staff are all helpful, courteous and polite.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, and we couldn't fault the staff on the reception and front desk - they went out of their way to assist us in any way they could.

We stayed in a one bedroomed apartment, the reception/reservation staff were excellent and were able to allocate the same apartment as the year before on my request.

The hotel has a gym,small pool & a on site restaurant.

The lobby bar never opened during my week stay (strange), but the pool bar is bustling and has an insanely cheap happy hour.

During peak times it is difficult to get a lounger by the pool, and the description of a whirlpool/jacuzzi in the main pool is not accurate as it has been dried out for over a year.

There is wireless internet in the hotel, but it seems.

The Hotel is clean, tidy, has large rooms with a fully equipped kitchen and great Ocean views.

The rooms are wonderful, new and kept meticulously clean by the very friendly maids.

The rooms are clean and have everything you need.

The hotel was nice - the room was very clean and the mattresses were new and firm.

We stayed at a one bedroom which was spacious and super clean.
