  No air conditioning in the restraunts at all which made it all the worse to eat there. The receptionist’s were about as helpful as a chocolate tea pot! I had complained numerous times about the constant cleaning outside our room that started 1. 00am, our fridge didn’t work and there was a low level humming coming from the air conditioner (I assume) that made it sound like a plane was landing in our room.

  Ah where to start :), The food was terrible, now im not a fussy eater at all but after a few days of the fly infested (not exaggerating) concoctions they produced I was put off, even looking at the food turned my stomach.

  They tried to palm us off with one double room when we had booked for two rooms. The rooms were clean, thankfully well air conditioned and generally bright. The electrics in the room sound unsafe and the tv set made a ominous buzzing sound every now and again. There were building works going out outside our rooms and the workmen were banging and drilling from 07.

  The reception staff seemed rude and uninterested. My friends room had a few problems including an broken door lock and dodgy tv set - this was sorted out quite quickly. Breakfast is continental style mainly catering for the German guests including sweet cakes and pastries.

  If you show any kind of common sense by avoiding any purchase in their shops, they insult you! The beds were thin matrasses on a wood board, so I'd definitely avoid it if you have any kind of back pain. All inslusive is not a word that should be used for the service you get there, they always find ways to charge you extra stuff!

  I'll definitely invest more time to collect information about the next hotel I plan to stay in for my next vacation. The hotel staff is so rude, we argued who would go to pick up the room key from the reception because we couldn't stand facing them again!

  I didn't take the all inclusive offert, it was breakfast and dinner included, bec I knew that I will spend most of my day time in the beach and the all inclusive was't necessary. Besides if u mind something, every employee is very kind and will fulfill every wish u have. Rooms are very nice, cleaned every day, with terrace in front. U have a shuttle bus to take u, but it's also close by feet (10 min).

  The rooms are good/adequate, they are spotlesly clean and the bedding is changed evry other day. Aircon/heating is efficient and quiet in operation. 4 swimming pools to choose from (one is heated), all very clean and there are pleanty of sun beds. Generally the staff were very well mannered and polite, becomming positively unctious after being generously tipped. In fact, it is like buying extra service or bribery even. For those who don't want to walk there is a free shuttle bus service (20 seater mini bus).

  Lots of hot water although you had to let the tap run for at least 5 minutes in the mornings to get it if you were up early. There is a beach bar and restaurant serving hot food and all the normal drinks ect. Be warned that queing is a British institution so if you are foolish enough to travel in 'rush hour' be prepared to fight to get on the bus!

  The hotel is situated quite a way out of Hurghada but has a fairly decent amount of shops in the complex and a shopping strip about 10 mins walk away (make sure when you're haggling that you get them down to about 30-40% of the original price at the very least). The hotel has 6 pools, a new amphitheatre for the very enthusiastic (though not the most talented) entertainment team, a couple of extra restaurants and a half hourly bus to the nearest beach (about a 10 min journey).

• The room was adequate (no tea/coffee making) but poorly cleaned though the cleaner was a helpful and pleasant young man. The Reception staff were excellent - I think they were just relieved to be spoken to politely and responded. Some of it was friendly banter and that was fine - I'm really not the dry old stick I may sound and happy to joke but it gets wearing. The people were friendly and some very charming who all said they prefered the British - perhaps they say that to all the girls! Except - there is a very kitsch sound and light show in a huge arena at the back of the hotel BUT there is an excellent show of horsemanship and a small dance display (swirling skirts - bit like dervishes - really good) Don't wait for your own language bit just go in any part and watch.

  Food was good considering we were in egypt fresh omelettes fillings of your choice, toast,boiled eggs etc in morning dinner choice pasta,rice ,baked potatoes,mash chips,pizza and freshly baked bread everyday etc all good stuff, spoil't for choise! If you want a quiet holiday this is also the hotel to unwind in cos the unheated pool areas are quiet and more relaxed, It suits all ages and we will definitly go back there.
