        • The only point I would make is perhaps the menu could be expanded a little more, that's being kind - the equipment in my local gym is 5 years old.
        • There was a lovely view of the Canal from our room window, overall our stay was good and leisure staff were all very friendly.

        Getting there

        The airport is 45 minutes drive from the hotel and can be reached by taxi.

        If you are traveling by car from the M5 Junction 4 than follow A491 Stourbridge till you reach Hagley and after turn right at the roundabout and then left at the traffic lights. After you see the next two roundabouts follow the A4036 signs and after follow the A4036 till you see the next traffic lights and after turn left into Level Street (B4179). At the next roundabout make straight and on to the hotel.

        From the M5 Junction 2 you need to take A4123 Dudley and after 2.5 miles you will see Burnt Tree roundabout where you should continue A461 to Stourbridge/Merry Hill Center. At the Castlegate roundabout turn left onto Dudley Town Centre Bypass (A461) and at the second roundabout follow the bear right sign posted to Merry Hill and then keep straight 1 mile and then turn left at the Scots Green Island sign posted to Brierley Hill A461. Then you will see the traffic lights, where you need to turn left on A4036 and then keep going till the next set of traffic lights, but turn right into Level Street (B4179) and then straight to the hotel.

          Very friendly and attentive staff, nice room. Good choice.

          The leisure centre is old and dated and again need some money spending on, road & hotel noise bad, the food is less than mediocre and the service is at times dreadful.

          Excellent location and friendly welcome. The staff were superb, bathroom was luxurious and price for the Saturday night was reasonable and included breakfast for the four of us. Car parking facilities were very good.
