The location was ideally located within walking distance to Clarke’s Quay and Chinatown (both about a 15 minute walk); however it was not close to mass transit.

The location was great, value for money were all excellent and the staff were very helpful.

The only drawback, which is minor, is the location.

MRT (5 mins in taxi) but taxis are cheap and there is a free bus to orchad rd and china town.

But Changi Village is probably best for a relaxing stop over, a taxi ride from the sights but a walk to the beach and close to the airport.

We asked at reception whether they had a double bed available; however she informed us that they only had rooms with 2 single beds available.

The 'first' room we were allocated had a double bed and a 'day bed'.

The bathroom was prefectly acceptable with a good powerful shower over a bath tub.

Upon returning late in the evening, the 3rd bed was still not made up and after several calls to Reception, they admitted that they had given us the wrong room for 3 people, but would send up a roll-out bed (removing the day bed).

Also received a free room upgrade after I requested a queen bed due to my height.

They have three main restaurants--japanese, chinese, and the lobby restaurant which serves an excellent buffet breakfast (inluded in the room rate) and a spectacular Penang buffet for lunch and dinner that is very popular with the locals.

There are three restaurants: one is a buffet (which was perpetually busy), one was a Chinese restaurant, and one was an extremely overpriced lobby restaurant serving "western" food.

To be honest there are so many superb places to eat in Singapore that are so much cheaper that you'd be mad to waste your money in a hotel restaurant other than for breakfast.

Although we did not eat main meals in the hotel, it offered a retaurant, bar (will live music) coffee shop, pool, gym etc.

The bathroom was covered in brown lime scale and the bar staff were courteous as were the breakfast staff.

Location is very near to town, the free shuttle bus from the hotel to all the main local shopping /sightseeing areas is a real bonus and the room is clean the service is very good for the front desk staff.

Generally, the hotel was well maintained, the staff very friendly & helpful especially the Concierge staff.

Reasonable price, good service and receptionist friendly n esp melissa.

The staff was very pleasant, with the front desk being particularly quick and efficient.

We used the swimming pool & jacuzzi facilities but due to the high cost did not use the restaurant facilities.

The hotel had a lovely pool, steam room and sauna which we used to relax and cool down.

The hotel's facilities, such as the outdoor pool, were very nice.

Rooms clean/tidy but felt cramped compared with other hotels stayed in.

Furthermore very clean rooms, the complimentary breakfast was not too bad and gym were excellent.

Clean and comfortable stay, very helpfull staff, rooms small - couldn't get past suitcase on suitcase stand.

The rooms were small but clean with very good views.

Pleasant staff, clean and nice room, good choice of breakfast and friendly.
