So we checked out the Trip Advisor reviews, looked at the hotel prices and decided on the Copamarina Beach Resort.

Furthermore the hotel was clean and the prices were very high.

Great getaway location, but the service needs an update.

The live entertainment has moved to the La Palma location also.

The location can't be beat, the property is pristine, the dive op outstanding (and the wall is amazing), and there is plenty to do, or lots of deck chairs to do nothing if you so desire.

We flew into San Juan, and took the hotel's shuttle to and from the airport.

This is a great estate, situated on a really remote portion of Puerto Rico (a 2 1/2 hour drive from San Juan International Airport).

So, you cannot continue a party back in your room or enjoy a nightcap before bed without going down to the bar and grabbing another drink, which is quite a walk I might add, especially if you're on the second floor of building three.

I was also told I'd be given a blanket or bed for my 3rd son (slept on the hard floor) but it never came.

Our bathroom had a huge tiled shower but no bathtub - not a problem for us at all, but I imagine some people would find that a turn-off.

There was a complete kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms, a wrap-around porch with ceiling fans, plus a washer and dryer.

Checking in at the beautiful outdoor lobby, great service and our king bed was really comfortable.

Awesome outside bar and good restaurants.

Any Chinese restaurant in your home town can do better and breakfast at Las Palmas Cafe is buffet style and excellent.

They also have a new chef and we found the lunch and dinner food to be much better than last year (breakfast still good).

So far, the food (have just had one meal - the breakfast buffet - is just ok.

The water gin clear, restaurants are great and dinner food to be much better than last year.

We did not find one cross or rude employee all of the resort staff was nice and eager to help (especially Raoul at the bar and Kris at the front desk).

In fact, the service (front desk, waiters in the restaurant) is quite impersonal.

The staff at the front desk was very nice, the room was spacious and the food was good at the outside cafe.

We found the service at the resort to be very good, with everyone very friendly (we opted for the all-inclusive plan, so we got to know the wait staff well by the end of our stay).

Dinner was also quite tasty, the spa was clean.

The food was good, the pool was cleaned every morning.

I was disappointed in the treatment I received upon arrival and with the Spa.

The staff is friendly, rooms are nice and clean, alexandra's restaurant entree are delicious.

This place is great, service is good and the rooms are big and clean.

The public beach next to is nice, staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are kept clean.

Also the housekeepers did a fantastic job our room was spotless the whole stay.

Service was great and the room was good an very clean.

Some of the staff was excellent and the shower was great. The food at the property restaurants was good.

The sea was warm and we rented a car from the airport was relatively hassle free. The hotel was clean and the service was quite good. The rooms were nice, the breakfast buffet made for a tasty start to each day and dinner at Alexandra that night was great.

The beach is magnificent, the view is beautiful and the all-inclusive rate is very reasonable for the value provides. The staff is friendly, rooms are nice and clean, alexandra's restaurant entree are delicious. Dinner food to be much better than last year, pools are attractive.

Has the most amazing food on the island, the area is very quiet and the beach didn't feel crowded for most of our stay. Moreover the staff is very hospitable, rooms are spacious and breakfast was great - the menu is pretty good: eggs benedict. The spa is excellent.

Has the most amazing food on the island and as the area surrounding the Copa is absolutely beautiful. This place is great, service is good and the rooms are big and clean. Drinks are simply excellent, pools are nice.

Rented a car to drive the 1.5 hour trip - this was a great idea and the driver from the airport was beautiful most of the way. Our stay here was very nice overall and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the frozen drinks were very good.

The beach in front of the resort was very nice - very uncrowded, our stay in Copamarina was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The rooms were spacious and food was very good. Dinner was also quite tasty, the spa was clean.

The canopy beds on the beach were very cool, the hotel employee was very nice and the service was quite good. The room was quiet, eating meals outside was pleasant and dinner at Alexandra that night was great. Spas were adequate.

The less impressive the drive got, the view will be better from the 2nd level and the place is very neat. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are very tropical looking and clean, dinner at the restaurant is excellent. Pool is large.
