Confederation Place Hotel Kingston - 金斯顿

Very good location by the lake shore and the hotel is close to all the great things in Old Kingston.

Fantastic location for the Bluesfest; they need more parking spaces instead of telling guests they "may not find a spot" when they come back in; showers are in need of repair; food and room were ok, not great; too high a price for what we got.

Great downtown location and excellent value.

If you arrive later than the minimum check-in time (3:00), don't expect to get parking in their underground lot, which will cost you $10 if you are so lucky.

The hotel is conveniently located, and does have some limited underground parking.

My room had wallpaper peeling off the walls, a bathtub which didn't drain properly, and a toilet water intake which refused to stop running.

The king sized bed was very comfortable, and the room was very spacious, even after we set up a portable crib.

As well, in these times when one expects to find at least a Queen-sized bed in your room, this place has Doubles.

Upgrading my room to water view was money well spent, the staff was courteous and helpful, our family suite was clean spacious and comfortable.

The air conditioning was worn and tattered as was the blanket on the bed.

Pillows were the best, breakfast included was a bonus especially as was more than just toast and outdoor pool was dirty.

The staff are pleasant and ditto breakfast.

Lobby was OK, the jazz bar off the lobby was reasonable but the other dining area was in need of a retrofit.

The place looks like it was converted from a bar into something that is now geared to eating.

45 minutes later still no food and still not another cup of coffee, an hour later we left $4 on the table told the server we have never seen anything like this before and her reply was (extremely ingnorant) "well we're busy".

considering we had booked tickets for the 1000 Islands Cruise and the staff at the front desk was fantastic.

I negotiated a good rate, the only friendly service we got was from the night maid and the huge flat screen tv was a nice surprise.

When I stayed there, the hallways and lobby were accurately reflected in their website, clean, and the fourth floor hallway appeared to be newly carpeted and wallpapered.

Parking in the municipal lot across the street might be an option for you if they are not full, but could run you upwards of $20 per night depending on how long you stay there.

My room had a beautiful view of the lake and it was spotless!

The view was great the waterfront, the room that I had was clean.

The elevators are terribly shabby, the carpets in the halls were stained, and the room itself was far from pristine.
