Hotel Como - 科莫

Good base location to explore the lake district, actually this hotel is located a long way from center and room is clean.

Good location and the hotel was convenient for access to.

We drove from Malpensa Airport , Milan, with the help of Never Lost of Hertz.

Hotel is a 20 minute walk from lakeside but is pleasent enough through the shopping area, free parking both underground in the hotel garage and in the outdoor car park in front of the hotel.

We had a pleasant family room which comprised our double bedroom, a sitting room with a sofa bed and a fold out bed for the boys and a bathroom.

We got very big room for family of 4, with queen bed, sofa, and extra bed.

The staff was very nice, the bed was very comfortable.

Hotel staff are very helpfull both at the front desk and at the excellent roof top poolside bar, however the restaurant staff need some training in providing adequate food to keep the morning breakfast buffet running.

We ate in the terrace restaurant and the food was simple but good.

It transpired that their main restaurant was closed for August and we could eat on the roof terrace but only food that could be prepared on the barbecue.

Very well located in the centre of Como and the breakfast provided by the hotel was good.

Bar area too small to be of any use (never saw anyone there).

The restarant staff were quite pleasant but the reception staff were all pretty unhelpful and unfriendly and really made me feel like we were a nuisance (which by the end of 3 days rubbish service I probably was!

Good location for overnight stop between italy, very friendly welcome at the reception and very nice staff.

Very helpful reception staff spoke good English, the rooms were very quiet and comfortable.

Nice hotel near Como town centre (5-10mins walk away), free car parking, and good inclusive breakfast.

Parking is free on street level, there is plenty of parking space for small cars.

Under the hotel there is paid parking, but i didn't try it.

Es gibt kostenlosen Internetzugang in der Hotelempfangshalle, dort Steht ein PC, der allerdings erst vom Hotelmanager freigeschaltet werden muss.

The room is small, but for one night, it is clean and good enough.

Stayed with friends for two nights, rooms were of a fair standard although perhaps more on the 3 star side, very clean and all that was needed was there.

The decor was ok and the rooms were clean but far from 4 star.

Furnitues are a bit old but room was cleen and tidy.
