Nice hotel, good location, better value than some of the hotels in the middle of San Diego.
Better value than some of the hotels in the middle of San Diego and the rooms face a central courtyard.
A large shopping district is just blocks away, this hotel is in a good location.
Also available in the area were Subway, Starbucks and Coldstone.
She then proceeded to put me in a room with a king bed, when I had requested a room with two double beds when I booked four months ago.
It consist of a seperate bedroom with 2 double beds and a large TV and a living room with a sofabed, another TV, microwave and a very small fridge (with a tiny freezer compartment).
The bed was heavenly: high quality sheets and suite was kept very clean by housekeeping staff.
King size bed was nice, bathroom was small.
The room layout was nice but the bed just didn't have a clean feel to it.
Complimentary breakfast was quite good for a continental breakfast.
Just across I-15 from the Hotel were shopping areas with Grocery store, Drug Store, Restaurants and a Movie Theater.
The breakfast was good and I enjoyed the quiet courtyard to read the paper and snack.
The only negative is the distance from the Hotel to San Diego or the beach (about 15 minutes drive) and it's only a continental breakfast (no eggs or waffles).
Free wireless internet, knowledgeable of the different restaurants.
The reception area decor/cleanliness was impressive, and the front desk clerk was very nice.
The worst service I experienced at the hotel was at check-in, when a woman (I think her name was Diane) was working the front desk.
Management should take a closer look at who they choose to staff the front desk.
Needless to say, we never had a chance to get it in, and on our last day I requested a little later check out so we could swim for a little bit and was rudely told by the front desk manager that "check out is at noon!
Hotel has a beautifuly landscaped area where you'll find the pool and spa and tables and chairs.
Pool and Jacuzzi were refreshing at the end of the day.
The hotel also has a small fitness Center.
The Hotel was quiet and the pool and hot tub was clean.
Also hot tub was clean, breakfast was very good.
Housekeeping did a good job keeping the rooms neat, although the sheets did not feel entirely clean.
