Our room had a cool setup, with a sofa instead of a regular bed. The staff here is extra nice and really went out of their way to help us out. The hotel is located in a good spot in the Birmingham area, making it convenient for getting around 🌟.

It had a funny smell when we walked in. Room did not smell good. Bathroom was not clean hair on floor, tub had lime deposits in it, this is not hard to take care of! Sheets were stiff and smelled like disinfectant. Person who was supposed to do breakfast the first day was late.

The room we had was nicely furnished and complete with a fold out couch, a king size bed and extra pillows. The breakfasts at 6:40.

Easy to check in
We checked in at 1am. Check out is at 11am. We made it downstairs at 11:10 and they wanted to charge us for an extra day. We weren't even there for 24 hours and they wanted to make us pay for 2 nights. My new husband got it straightened out and let them know that from here on out we will stay at the holiday inn & suites on our next trip through to Tennessee.

The pillows were ok for propping up to watch TV; however, they were much too thick for a shortnecked person. Can't use my arm as a pillow any more.
