Very nice desk clerk, and a young man in the lobby helped us with our suitcase...a refreshing plus after a long long day of travel. Comfy bed, nothing fancy though best price I could find in that area.

The staff at the Comfort Inn On The Bay was professional and helpful. The location in downtown Port Orchard was relatively quiet and convenient. The hotel is reasonably priced and just next door to ferries crossing over from Seattle. The central business district and Navy base were across the street. Tourist destinations and the Sidney Museum were a short distance away.

Staff is super friendly, Pam worked the desk in the evening and she was always helpful and friendly. The view of the water is very pretty the location to downtown is really close but there isn't much to do with small children that I could see. The little beach that was on the property was great for my son we spent an afternoon there!
Your room view is not what you think. The walkway to the rooms runs infront of all the windows so if you want to see the view you have to leave your room. There were a bunch of construction type workers staying there and they smoke on the walkways even tho there are no smoking signs. I was traveling without my husband this time and I had one of the workers harass me the first night and met me and my kids at my door the second night. I ended up having to get another room. So that was scary. So might want to check on that before booking it was peaceful during the day but at night not so nice. I also watched several drunks try to park and that was frightful as pretty as it was I'm not sure I'd stay there again just because of the things I observed and endured while I was there
