This location always does a great job: close to the mall, places to eat, attractions.

This location always does a great job: close to the mall and this hotel is one the best I have stayed in.

The best location for guests who were from out of town and did not know there way around.

My family and I loved the very short distance from the airport.

We were relying on the information given to us on the phone prior and on the internet that we would have a ride to and from the hotel from airport.

Not only did the Comfort Inn have non-smoking rooms, it had an entire non-smoking floor, meaning that the venitllation system did not spread old smoke from room to room.

We needed non-smoking, clean rooms with a very effective air conditioner because my daughter has a serious asthma condition.

The only negative thing I'd have to say about the hotel was that room service took forever.

When I say forever I mean the cleaning staff was two doors away from my room and when they finally got to my room, it was like 2 1/2 hours later.

Then the next morning my son went down to explore and use the pool, workout room,etc and ask which directions these areas were and the guy, a different one from night before.

In addition the breakfast presentation was wonderful.

I was highly impressed with the staff and continental breakfast options.

Just minutes from Newport News Airport and many local restaurants and shopping centers.

The next morning I was shocked by the varity if the breakfast.

Much better than the other hotels in the area, the thoughtful managers reception in the afternoon and clean rooms.

The hot breakfast and the thoughtful managers reception in the afternoon, this hotel is one the best I have stayed in.

Most importantly, the staff was helpful and understanding.

To my surprise, I was further insulted by the General Manager when he said to me in front of the Front Desk Rep "You are blowing it out of proportion and you can call 1-800-4CHOICE".

From the desk clerks to housekeeping you are always greeted with a smiling face.

She began to tell me the Housekeeping Manager didn't work weekends and on and on.

It says there is hot coffee 24 hours in the lobby which is also not true.

The rooms were not new, so there were minor cosmetic flaws, but they were very clean and well maintained.

The room was VERY clean and the house keeping well done.
