Place was great value and pretty standard, greatly enjoyed the stay.

A lot of food for breakfast, it was gorgeous. The hotel was in a handy location, by nature.

We recommend this place and would stay here again. Convenient great budget place, it has convenient location next to other colleges, the kennet and Avon canal, and the nearest villages. The rooms are good sized and cheap with a super kingsize bed, everything is perfectly fine. The hotel offers lots of food that was good.

The room was reasonably large and had a comfortable bed, Wi-Fi, and a hairdryer. The location was handy and easy, very close to other colleges, a supermarket, and the cafeteria. The hotel was also just a short walk away from Aldermaston Wharf Canalside.

only stayed one night for newbury races for concert very convenient for station to newbury.

Railroad nearby, could hear trains in the room. Breakfast was rather dry and was disappointed to see a coffee machine sit in the dining area unused while getting served watered down instant coffee.

The staff team was excellent. the rooms were neat and equipped with a shower and comfy bed. - the hotel's location was ideal, just off the nearest villages, the cafeteria, and the restaurant. No Guinness on Tap!! Still not the end of the world.

The breakfast options are great with a variety of choices, as well as convenient amenities in the room like a microwave oven, central heating, an iron, and a comfortable bed.

I liked the fact that we were able to check in to the hotel @ around 12.50 after we were told we would have to wait till 2pm when we arived at 11.45am,we also liked the friendly night porter who served us on the bar in the late evening

we did not like the fact that the directions were inadequate ie the post code sent us to a location it was then 30 minutes after ringing twice for directions until we arrived,or or the fact that the receptionist twice told us upon arrival that first she was too busy to check about our taxi that was supposedly previously booked and that she was too busy to get us a drink after we had.we actually waited for an hour to get served after I asked again despite the fact that she stood talking to another girl for the first 20 minutes.We did not like being awaken by the heating coming on at 5 am making the room so hot I had to open the windows so never returned to sleep as road noise could then be heard, we were told in the morning when checking out it was because the night porter gets cold doing nothing at that time so his comfort is obviously more important than the guests, and finally we did not like the breakfast buffet which was Luke warm eggs,mushrooms, beans etc bacon so dried I could not pierce it with a fork all served on cold plates.

Have stayed here before, no complaints, I recommend this hotel. The units are outstanding, neat with a super kingsize bed. All in all they offer exceptional service. Guests can get extra pillows too.
