Comfort Art Hotel Siru

The hotel is situated right next to the metro station and only 5 minutes walk from grand place - it really was a great location.

The location is pretty good - not right in the centre but only a 5 minute walk to the main attractions and is situated right next to a Metro station.

It is also situated in an excellent location on the Place Rogier and a 10 min walk down to the Grand Place via all the shops, hoorah!

Good location with easy 10 minutes walking to city center and a subway station right outside the hotel.

Nicely located in downtown Brussels this hotel is within walking or underground tram distance to everything you need to see in Brussels.

The bed is right next to the bathroom, and whenever anyone nearby, above, or below flushed a toilet or ran water it sounded like and explosion next to our heads.

The room was ok (the "artwork" on the walls did seem a bit odd), the bed was good and the window opened so the room wasn´t unbearably hot.

A guest at the Siru is given one flat pillow, on top of a small bed tightly wedged in the room where you lean against a poorly designed headboard, complete with cut outs and lights, so you can't really lean against them.

What I liked about this room was that the bathroom was relatively spacious with shower and tub.

The room was nice and the bed quite confortable.

Breakfast in the dark wood restaurant had a full and filling menu, service acceptable and the lounge was was worth a visit.

The breakfast works well, however at sometimes the restaurant may be full due to groups staying at the hotel.

Really bad: Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was OK.

Then, why is there not a bar in the hotel or why is it not possible to get a drink, not even a beer in the restaurant?

Breakfast was great - hot and cold and plenty to eat.

Reception staff were cordial and helpful.

Service was prompt, staff multi-lingual, extra towels arrived promptly and a failed light bulb was replaced while we're out.

However, once we got there, the hotel itself seemed very clean and the concierge had no problem finding our reservations.

And the snotty french guy at the reception followed us out of the hotel to drag us back to speak to the hotel manager on the phone.

Told us they had car parking , I get there to be told its street parking 2 streets from the hotel and thats if you sit for 30 mins waiting for a space.

I really liked all the different art throughout the hallways, and even going up in the elevator, there were things painted on the walls that we passed on the way up!

Yes the lift is rather small but again does it matter, get your suitcase in when you arrive and leave and trot up the stairs at other times if necessary when its busy, probably a good idea after all the food we ate!

Room was nice and clean and a good size, everything worked, no noise on floor, ok with regards the lift too (was on 6th floor).

For a very good price we got a small, but clean and nice room.

The room although a little on the small side was clean but needed some refurbishment.

The bathroom although has ancient fittings was very clean.

The room was clean and there is a great pub next door.
