Colossus Hotel

You were not able to sit round the pool or even in your room as the music was so loud that even the bed vibrated.

We were booked in on bed and breakfast, whilst only making breakfast twice it was typical turkish cuisine.

The room was a standard turkish hotel room i felt, it had a fridge and air conditioning (free of charge) and it was clean.

Just below the apartments is the Mermaid restaurant, run by Davut (David to his friends) and a lot of very nice looking young waiters who also dance every evening as part of the entertainment!

The rooms are tiny and disgusting, they were not even fit for The Krankies!

Breakfast was so bad, we did not even attempt to eat dinner in the hotel.

Breakfast was vile, who eats leftover lentil soup for breakfast?

Wise move, as it was leftover breakfast mixed with rice!

No entertainment, unless you count the all-night Turkish music coming from the bar as 'entertainment'.

Waiters in the restaurant were very anti-English and simply laughed when you complained.

Upon arrival the reception staff were friendly and helped us up the stairs to our room (building only 2 floors).

When we tried to complain, we had no rep, no manager (as he was in hiding), and all Turkish staff threw us a rubber ear as they "no speak no english".

The staff are friendly and helpful and they make you feel very welcome.

Staff in this hotel cannot understand any english what so ever, very rude and miserable, and try ripping you off aswell.

We happened to have an emergency during our stay, and staff were practically useless as they could not understand or speak English.

Do not go in the gym as if you blink your eye you will miss it!

Pool was very quite, no entertainment at all, only good thing about this is you didnt have to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sunbed, you had your pick.

The apartments are kept clean and come with a larder fridge, a small electric cooker and most utensils, but I would advise taking a tin opener from home!

The staff were friendly,the pool area was tidy and had plenty of beds available as the hotel wasn`t over busy.

The rooms were definately not as we expected either, tidy (dont look anything like the pictures we seen) but very very very dusty, never seen a duster since it opened i dont think.
