Colony Palms Hotel Palm Springs - 棕榈泉

They have the makings for a great comfortable boutique hotel in a great location in PS.

Palm Springs location and the Hotel itself was unique, especially well-appointed, clean and expertly.

The grounds and location were beautiful and I took the "fitness hike" and enjoyed the mountains.

And I loved the iHome docking station for our iPod.

Our cab was waiting and racked up a $6 charge while this problem was sorted out.

The room was very big and very well air-conditioned, the bed was unbelievably comfortable with beautiful linen and the bathroom was nice.

We had a one bedroom/one bath guest room.

The room, thankfully, was very boutiquey w/ exotic decor, excellent linens, very comfy bed, robes, super spacious shower w/ 2 shower heads with great water pressure, etc.

The regular rooms are shoeboxes with dark, tiny bathrooms--literally you couldn't easily walk around the bed and the shower was dark and so small you couldn't turn around.

Our room (we stayed in The Waverly Suite) was unbelievable and the bed was incredible!

Very well air-conditioned, drinks at the bar good and the restaurant menu was great for breakfast.

The food at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch was far above average.

Drinks and food all day and night, great music in the bar/restaurant.

The food at the onsite Citron Restaurant is very good and gourmet and the Bar makes the best Mojito's.

The rooms are cool, the bar restaurant is awesome and by the beautiful pool in the middle of a well groomed.

I can only give compliments to the staff, especially the front desk and pool service staff, who were extremely friendly and efficient.

The staff (although very young) were very helpful when approached, but this is no Mandarin Oriental--expect to hunt down a waiter now and again for pool side service.

Raina, front desk, without hesistation offered us breakfast at the Citron or room service.

The hotel offers a complimentary coffee service in the morning complete and helpful staff.

There are 3 pools, 1 Jacuzzi by the Spa and our favorite 1 Cool Plung which is a Jacuzzi that gets filled with big ice bars twice a day.

We stayed in the middle group of buildings situated around the pool that is directly through the lobby.

With the spa, pool, and Citron it couldn't have been a better weekend getaway.

The room feels very bright and clean probably from its white on white decor.

If you want a hotel that is quiet, clean and has excellent facilities (pools, spa, exercise room, etc) this is it!

The room was super clean and in perfect condition.

The lines were very clean and refreshing, just clean walls, beds with white bottom sheet and duvet, and three excellent pillows to each of the two queen beds.

The rooms are well appointed, the pool is clean.
