This Spanish Colonial style hotel is historic and was originally built in the 1930's. Over the years the Colony Palms (previously known as The Colonial House and The Howard Manor) has played host to many Hollywood celebrities.

This four-star property was reopened in 2007 after an extensive renovation to offer its guests all the modern conveniences and luxurious services. The hotel’s Moroccan-styled interior designed by Martyn Lawrence-Bullard ties in nicely with its Colonial Spanish exterior.

All 56 guestrooms and suites at the Colony Palms Hotel are elegantly appointed and offer all the comforts for both the leisure and business travelers. Some guestrooms overlook the courtyard and the pool featuring spectacular views of the San Jacinto Mountains.

The Purple Palm Restaurant & Bar offers Mediterranean menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Each room features: Wi-Fi/wireless internet, air conditioning/ heating, fully-stocked mini-bar, a safe deposit box, HD LCD TV with cable channels, iPod docking station; Bathroom with Signature Oversized Shower, hair dryer and C.O. Bigelow bath products. Fireplaces and exquisite four-claw bathtubs are available in certain guestrooms.

Good sized rooms and lush surroundings, great Boutique Hotel, the staff and valet service were very helpful and informative. The pool and hot tub were open 24hrs a day, the restaurant, The Purple Palm, was excellent.
