I stayed at Marriott on Wolf Road during my previous visits and it was a comfortable hotel but overpriced.
Best of all, the hotel was exactly half the price of the Marriott.
Good location, the hotel was nice for the price especially compared to all of the other options in this price range in the Albany-area and staff was very helpful.
The only complaint I have, and it's not the hotel's fault, is the location.

On our last day, we had to check out a couple hours before we needed to get to the airport, so we stayed in the lounge and surfed the 'net on our laptops using the free wi-fi.
Airport, Crossgates Mall, Target, Barnes and Noble.
This year we stayed in the J-2 room that had a queen bed and huge bathroom with the Jacuzzi tub.
The first two years we stayed upstairs in a jacuzzi room that had a sitting area, king bed and jacuzzi tub.
Rooms have decent bedding (I would still remove the bed cover).
We rented a room with a Queen size bed and it had 50% more space than the Marriott.
The bathroom in this room was small with a small tub.
Wireless signal for laptop strong and decent free breakfast selections.
The light breakfast in the lobby was just right.
They have free wireless internet through the entire hotel and a free limited breakfast.
The staff was helpfull and breakfast were good.
We booked a race and relax package that got us a free breakfast at the IHOP nearby and clubhouse admission with a program to Saratoga.
We liked the location--handy to I-87 and the front desk staff was very personable and accommodating.
One of the front desk girls was very nice about it and put our food in the employee freezer with a sign on it to indicate that it was ours.
The staff was very professional apologized over again about the ongoing construction.
The hotel was 2 floors all exterior corridors but only had parking in the front of the building b/c of said construction but the staff made sure I found a place out front to park each night.
When I woke up there must have been some sort of dispute during the night because there were three cop cars in the parking lot.
I opened the curtain when I heard voices and across the parking lot there was a cop talking to some guys in their twenties.
The jacuzzi was appealing after a lot of driving.
I noticed that the room did not have a damp feel to it at all, and I imagine it takes work to keep a room like that as spotless as it was.
It is true that for almost $300 for 2 nights, I was excepting to stay in a clean room!
