Club Quarters San Francisco - 旧金山

I was very happy with the location, very close to china town and also to the embarcadero.

My husband chose this hotel because of the location-he ran the SF Marathon and wanted a place close to the start of the race.

Very good location, not too impersonal like the nearby Hilton and the hotel is clean.

The location is accessible to many of the tourist areas on foot or via a short cab ride.

It's also within blocks of a BART station for service to SFO or OAK airports.

The rooms themselves are so small, there's no way to fit your luggage out in the room anywhere in order to walk around from bed to bath, unless you hang everything up in the closet.

The bathroom door had to be completely shut in order to enter and exit the room, and the bed was up against the side wall next to the window.

Upon returning to our room again at 11 PM we noticed that he had dumped a couple of fresh hotels on the bed but did not bother to even remove the used ones from the floor of the bathroom.

The suite is nice with a full bathroom double/queen bed and refrigerator.

Most of the rooms are VERY small, with double beds, small bathrooms and only one hand-towel.

Food in adjoining restaurant was excellant, has a huge bar with a pub atmosphere.

If you want breakfast eat at the restaurant downstairs (elephant & castle?

The only black mark is the restaurant/bar.

The bar/restaurant adjoining the Hotel, "The Elephant and Castle", was beyond fabulous!

The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful with the automated check-in and check-out process on the self-service machines in the lobby.

Room service was very nice and the front desk staff were professional and very accomodating.

They have three computers in the lobby with internet/printers, a nice gym and a little observation deck at the top floor with a view of the San Fran skyline.

Strangely, the accessible rooms were located at the far end of the hallways, once you leave the elevator lobby so, if you're traveling with a walker or someone using a cane, beware.

Like other reviewers, I think the whole parking situation needs to be explained or documented better.

Wireless or wired broadband is available FREE.

A real high-back desk chair, free wireless internet (though frequently very slow).

The room was very, very clean and looked remodeled, however ours had a shower only.

For San Francisco, you can't beat the rates, though, and the rooms, while small, are new and clean.
