Location : the hotel was next to a mountain with views of the mountains on all sides, Club Himalaya from Mystic Mountain for one good reason the first one got incomparable view of sunrise/sunset, and nice log fire in bar. I ate at the attached restaurant near the property. The rooms were updated and modern, with balcony.

Best aspects of our Easter break were waking up to breathtaking views of the mountains and enjoying delicious food at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. We loved being able to go for a hike in the surrounding hills and explore the local area. the hotel's location was perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The outdated facilities, especially the bathroom that was infested with insects. the air conditioning wasn't available during the day and the hotel's management seemed unresponsive to guests' complaints.

Perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Himalayas, this hotel offered breathtaking views from its cozy rooms. The bathrooms were clean, equipped with all the basic amenities like toiletries, towels, and bathrobes. The staff provided warm and friendly service, while the breakfast buffet was delicious, with a range of scrumptious options to choose from. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were refreshing and perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The hotel lacked better accessibility options, making it challenging for senior citizens to reach the rooms via the stairs.

It's attention to detail and professionalism. Staff were very attentive and effeciant and the hotel it's was built in an incredibly beautiful location.
There still seemed to be a lot of construction going on which meant there were some ugly parts to the holel. This could have been covered with a fence.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in the mountains with stunning views on all sides. The location was perfect for capturing the sunset and sunrise. The hotel facilities were great and I particularly enjoyed the peaceful ambience of the surrounding hills and the Buddhist sanctuary. Additionally, the staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout my stay.
Nothing to dislike.

As architects, we like how the hotel is integrated into the natural environment and how the whole hotel is oriented to view the Himalayas. The roof deck for viewing the Himalayas is a splendid idea. The interior of the public/common spaces are well designed but the room we stayed in was nothing special. While we liked the wooden floors and the personal balcony, the rest of the room needs major renovation. The room is a bit run down which is a stark contrast to the public areas.
We did not like the room because it is old/run down and requires renovation. Also, we did not like the fact that the air-conditioning was not cold enough. We know that we can open the windows and let the mountain breeze come in. But we do not like leaving our windows open at night. Who knows what mythical mountain creature is out there. We also did not like that we were not informed before our arrival that the pool is being maintained as we brought some swim wear and stuff. We ordered for coffee and after 15 minutes our coffee was not served yet. We ultimately had to cancel the order. Also, this is the first time that we encountered a hotel which discourages room service/food to delivered in the rooms which is a bit rigid and unfriendly for tourist. The dinner and breakfast buffet choices are very limited.

Club Himalaya was great overall. The location is amazing and you have a wonderful view of the Himalayas right from your room. The food is fantastic and the hotel staff is great too.
The only issue I had was the cleanliness of my room. When I first opened the door to my room, immediately I saw 2 or 3 flies scatter. Not a good sign for cleanliness. Then I looked around and had to kill about 5 more in the room. The tile in the room is also worn down badly, but other than that the room was nice. When I talked to the hotel staff about it, they said that room hadn't been occupied in a while, so perhaps flies got in there accidentally.
