Old-style room with big windows, shutters and a large fireplace, a lovely bathroom.

Furniture is banal, there was a huge spot of humidity in the bathroom, no minibar, a bad functioning heating system.

Apparently some rooms have been revamped and have flatscreen tv with English channels, minibar, Kleenex, and shower cubicles that don't leak.

Our room was tired (with very little storage space), the hot water supply was unreliable until Day 4 of the holiday, and the breakfasts are really not good.

The room we had was the second one we looked at and it was beautiful.

We had dinner twice in the restaurant - on the first occasion the meal was just awful but it improved on the second, after our group leader had complained on our behalf to the management.

Breakfast was basic, with reconstituted "juice" and little fresh produce - and the evening meal wasn't brilliant either.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were varied and adequate.

The worst point, however, was breakfast - undrinkable coffee from an automatic machine, stone-hard croissants, industrial fruit juice.

The bar (if you could get anyone to serve you) never seemed to be able to offer a full range of drinks and ran out of things normally considered to be standard.

A lovely place, friendly staff and a large fireplace.

Throughout our 4 day stay, the staff were friendly and courteous and I would certainly have no hesitation in returning there.

We're seasoned travelers with many years of experience, and from the moment we found parking--a challenge in itself-- we had a bad feeling about this hotel.
