Classical Makedonia Palace Thessaloniki - 塞萨洛尼基

Very easy reach to the city centre, the hotel is in a good location for visiting all parts of Thessaloniki and the staff is very polite.

As for the location, the hotel is right on the water and you can walk along the waterfront to the nightlife-rich part of downtown, where all the restaurants and cafes are.

The location is excellent, it's almost in the city centre, 5 minute walk to the market and right in front of the sea.

In Greece you generally pay a premium (hence, overall overpriced) in pretty much everything (cloths, food, drinks, except taxis!

Makedonia Palace is very convinient for business travelers because is 3 minutes by taxi from the Helexpo fair.

Most things (rooms, room size, furniture, bed, breakfast) are fine but the little things that make a hotel worth this much were missing.

The room was nicely decorated with a queen size bed, nice wooden furniture, large tv with a work desk and armchairs.

The room which was sea view was too small, the furniture was dated, the bathroom had a moldy feeling- was too small with the toilet positioned very close to the wall and the maid service was awful.

We had a very comfortable room with view to the sea and with size bed in high floor as we asked and in the room we found a bottle of wine plus fruits complimentary with a card with wishes for our anniversary.

The room was elegant and big with comfty beds, the bathroom well apointed with great toiletries.

The main restaurant’s cuisine was out of this world and the “piano bar/bouzouki” style live Greek music complimented the atmosphere perfectly.

However, after our experience in breakfast time, we didn't miss the chance to enjoy an incredible dinner to the restaurant "Porfyra" (on the top of the hotel) as its smashing flavors are still in our minds.

Enjoy a drink in the relaxed yacht bar outside watching the ships going into and the breakfast is the best I have ever seen.

There are a lot of bar restaurants that are worth the visit like Shark and Interni as well as a lot of bars on the main city avenue that are really nice!

The “9th cloud” bar – restaurant at the rooftop was another surprise.

The service was very good as expected from my King George experience, 2 pools, gym, clean and spacious rooms, very helpful front desk and concierge.

Even though all tables were reserved one of the front desk staff did his best to find and book us a table that night.

We had a great staying and thanks to the impeccable concierge staff we had the chance to meet the real life of Thessaloniki.

Located just outside the beautiful city of Thessaloniki, the hotel staff well presented and the service was attentive.

There are also a few high-end shops around the lobby and a fitness room with pool view.

The pool area is nice and spacious, although the hotel allows "club members" (locals who pay a monthly fee) to use the pool and gym.

There is a pretty decent gym down by the pool.

Moreover the room was clean and breakfast was absolutely amazing.

Rooms were spacious and clean, pillows were good.

Room is very clean and spacious, waiters at the breakfast could be a bit more friendly.

The staff were really nice and the room was comfortable and clean.

The staff are always efficient and friendly, the rooms are clean, bar at 9th flour is extremely good.
