Would stay again if not on business as the hotel was well located, clean and felt safe and had pool, it was also good value price wise.
Great location, nice hotel and all for a much more reasonable price.
The primary attraction is the excellent location and i always like staying at the Rendezvous Allegra in Adelaide - I think 's great value for a 5 star hotel.
It seems that they had no more money to finish the hotel and they did cheap windows and cheap curtains!
Well equipped spacious rooms in a central location, very nice hotel and extremely helpful & friendly staff.
We still had a good time and its in a central location, easy walking distance to everything.
The primary attraction is the excellent location (for business travellers like myself).
Modern 4 star in central business district with easy access on foot to main areas of Adelaide and easy access also to central (free) hop on, hop off bus service.
They kindly stored our luggage, and we went off on foot to check out the city.
Not all rooms have the dividing glass window in bathroom, on website it says that every room has one but ours didn't.
A bathroom as big as an inner city studio apartment were the features and would stay again not on business as the hotel was well located.
Our room was their standard room which was lovely, bright and very clean, with a huge bed.
We recently stayed at the Allegra for 5 nights in King Room with a fold out bed for our daughter.
The bed was really comfortable which was great, and the room service was quick, tasty and reasonably priced.
Fabulous location near the Central Market Gouger 'Eat' St and we received a free breakfast in the hotel restaurant to make up for.
There is a restaurant in the hotel but it is only open for breakfast and dinner.
Lots of good restaurants and breakfast/coffee bars on the doorstep (try Quick and Fresh).
There was a problem with additional charges being accidently put on my credit card and we received a free breakfast in the hotel restaurant to make up for it, which was an appreciated gesture.
This review may sound severe, but we were not the only ones that felt this way about the hotel, as we realised when we checked out and were charged for meals in the restaurant that we had not eaten.

While the staff were always courteous at reception and very sorry for all of the inconvenience and lack of service, it was obvious that they were understaffed and that room service issues are not really a concern for them.
Great customer service on front desk, received a free room upgrade.
The facilities were great, with a heated pool and spa, and small gym.
Pool, SPA and Gym were ok, but agree with the comments these, and the hotel generally, are geared for the business traveller, and you had to keep swimming in the pool to keep warm!
