Clarion Collection Hotel Gabelshus Oslo - 奥斯陆

The location is excellent, the train is AMAZING compared to our UK trucks they are Bullet trains and the hotel is located in the beautiful West End area of the city.

The location was good - very close to the tram to the city centre, that this hotel only had quiet rooms and the staff was extraoridnarily friendly and helpful.

The Gabelshus is a hotel with a nice warm environment, good staff, several complimentary amenities, and a nice quiet location in a lovely neighborhood.

The hotel is located 10 minutes tram ride from the train/bus station in a lovely neighbourhood.

Tram fares are higher than bus fares in England, but at least the trams arrive on time!

The carpet was totally worn out and stained, the bathroom was ancient, only had a bath tub with moldy sides, a mirror attached to the inclined wall (room under roof) so you had to look steeply up to shave in order to see yourself.

When we came back the second time, we were luckier: This time the reservation had come through and we got a beautiful room - very clean, classic yet modern, with a cozy double bed instead of two singles.

If you were lying in bed and the other person was using the bathroom or shower, you could totally see the person!

It had a very comfortable bed and a TERRIFIC, huge bathroom/shower.

I experienced two rooms in short succession, moving to get access to a bath tub.

Breakfast buffet was very good and actually the only restaurant in Norway that could make bacon properly.

We did not find it expensive to eat out in Oslo, and ate in two different restaurants, plus looked at the menus and prices outside of numerous other restaurants.

Breakfast offered an impressive selection of ordinary supermarket fare as well as delectable scrambled eggs and pancakes, but they ran out of pastries to accompany coffee.

Breakfast is fantastic - multiple choices, good fresh quality food, abundant serve-yourself quantities.

The value for money came with the food available for breakfast and buffet dinner all inclusive.

Very friendly staff and the receptionist at check-in was helpful.

There is a small bar and good internet access (a terminal in the lounge and wireless in the rooms - ask at reception for the passwords which you get on a scratch card - follow the instructions on the card, not from the receptionist!

I was happy to use the free covered parking, located beneath the new wing, but be warned that it is quite cramped and requires careful maneuvering.

Take your shorts for the Sauna situated in the basement I missed out on that.

Internet access is free and we used the sauna is a nice bonus.

Also the personnel is very nice and helpful, free wireless internet is available.

The good thing is the free wireless access to the internet which works fine.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and tidy, breakfast buffet was very good.

Good fresh quality food, staff uniformly excellent and clean your teeth in the washbasin in the bathroom.

Bathroom were clean, selection at the breakfast buffet were the best we had in Norway.

A nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and the bathroom small was clean.
