This great spot is hidden in the Berkeley Hills and has outstanding views of San Francisco Bay. The spa is amazing and the Sunday brunch is absolutely delicious. The façade could use a renovation, according to some, and the rooms are stuffy and vary greatly in size.

The view was better from the bathroom, the staff was excellent, except the front desk, was just OK and the room was nice and updated.

The distinctive room did have three large windows and a great view, the lady in the Front Desk was very apologetic and understanding that day. Beds were terrific and very nice linens.

Extremely beautiful and peaceful location, a fantastic stay. I just returned home after an amazing weekend at the claremont and on a positive note, the spa is lovely, and the two services I had were excellent. Beds are comfortable, a towel rack would be really nice and of course, drinks are available too.

Beautiful views of the bay and great hotel. Many historic photos in the lobby and fabulous staff service. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. Dinner was incredible, cocktails on the veranda one night was awesome and the cafe by the pool was way better.

My room had an awesome view and the upgraded room i stayed in was crisp and clean, hotel like a well kept dowager. The eggs benedict were great and the prices were reasonable, the staff were polite and responsive. Bed was extremeley comfortable and the restaurant wine recommendations were good.

The Claremont Resort spa offers the unique combination of escape just outside of the city, the hotel itself is great and staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are modern and the rooms large and updated, the pool and gym are superb.
