Great Location, food in the restaurant was amazing great portions and very tasty. Boutique hotel

Great bay window with a sea view. Large room with all the facilities needed. Very pleasant bar/ dining room. We had breakfast each day which was generally quite good. Situation of hotel was ideal for shops, bars and the promenade.

I booked 3 double rooms with a sea view and paid the same price for each one but my son's bedroom did not have the same facilities as the other 2. His room was smaller and no bay window overlooking the sea. This should be explained when booking and reflected in the price.

The location of the hotel from the ferry terminal was the best (! minute), the walk into Douglas was easy & so close and the beach within two minutes walk mean't for a perfect short break..

Speed of check-in and cleanliness of room. Lounge bar comfortable and breakfast good.

Air-con noisy when window open, and window difficult to open and shut without making alot of noise.

Clean and well presented hotel. Staff extremely helpful.

View to rear of building is pretty bad. Probably better to pay for a sea wiew if you can afford it.

Have stayed at the Claremont before. Consistent, in that we know we what we are getting for a short stay.

          welcoming, seemed well run

triple aspect room, as the estate agents would say, all with views of concrete

they let us in late at night, they also got us a better room during our stay, the food in the restaurant is really good, like dining for masterchef!

the first room we had was hard to get to from the lift: stairs up and down and firedoors etc (hard enough with a baby and buggy etc), although they did organise us another room when we mentioned it

The location , the restaurant and food. The room allocated was excellent as it looked over the sea

The room was spoilt by curtains not hanging from rails and carpet stains - other than that it would have been excellent

Restaurant staff very friendly & helpful

The special dinner menu was repeated each night that I stayed. The televison needed to be updated. No biscuits or water replanished from 1st night stay

Traffic noise at front Hot bedroom (even with windows open) Not 4 star as advertised- more like 3

Location was ideal for business and to enjoy the view.

Breakfast service in the dining room was slow - appeared to be more geared to families/holiday makers with time on their hands, rather than business people in a hurry to get to meetings. My room and bathroom were very spacious, but the bathroom had clearly had a problem with the shower leaking and a strong damp smell lingered. Room 207.
