This location is also situated near an excellent coffeehouse that I always hit when I am in the city (Cafe Europa) and is close to a few great spots for meals.

Best location, the hotel is located in very good place: on the one hand is center of the city.

You can purchase the Budapest Card from the airport itself, allowing you to get the subway to and from the airport, thus using your card straight away.

Easy access to the metro station and interesting prints around the hotel are for sale.

I was in a room for three people so someone had to take a sofa style bed (not me luckily :-) but I was on one of the singles.

The room was small and uninviting, the curtains did not fully fit the windows and the room had 2 very small beds.

Rooms have phone, radio, tv and mini bar but no tea / coffee making facalities.

Nothing special, but for the price was included a medium size room, tiny bathroom, good breakfast, helpful staff and a pretty good location.

The hotel is old and shabby, the lift did not work and the only english speaking channel did not work either, the rooms+bathroom were dull and the shower tiny!

Restaurants in the area: the Restaurant of Horror and Darkness is self-consciously Goth, but the food (grill dishes) is quite good, with the usual huge Hungarian portions.

The second is that there is no coffee lounge, and the restaurant only opens for breakfast.

The breakfast is a basic continental is a bit of a start for the day not much of a variety of food.

There was a good selection of differnt food for breakfast.

The Okay Italian Restaurant on St Istvan is highly popular, but the food is pretty awful.

Staff was friendly and the receptionist was very helpful and joyful.

The reception staff were helpful and our room was big and clean.

The breakfast service on Sunday was OK not brilliant, due to the lack of staff.

Friendly and helpful staff, free internet.

Single public computer in lobby for Internet may get busy at times.

As others have said before there was no lift which personally was not a problem but may be for some people.

The major problem here was that there is no elevator and we were on the top floor which was a hike with luggage.

Just returned from a 3 night stay, Rooms spotless and spacious.

The hotel is in a great place, room is realy clean and staff happy to recommend restaurants.

Not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised when we walked into the room and found it to be a really good size, clean and airy.
