Alta Speicher has an excellent location, the hotel is located in a perfect spot and breakfast is marvelous.

Central location, quiet place and thay had staff that were friendly.

The hotel was in a good location - very central to the beautiful city of Lubeck, the breakfast room was bright.

The staff were kind and helpful, the rooms were nice.

About the poor evaluation for quietness of room, this is referred to the street noise while internally it was one of the quietest room i met.

About the price, breakfast is plenty and good, but also expensive, and i didn't realized that is not included in the room price, readind the web site.

The staff wasn't nearly as helpful and all receptionists spoke very good English.

The room was clean and the breakfast menue was very good.

Large clean room, great breakfast and the owners non so polite.

    The room stank of cigarette smoke as was located directly above the outdoor smoking area - this became unbearable by the next morning, just two things: the bed was not quite for young couple.
