Numerous staff members here have badges that identify them as members of the CCP's Young Pioneer organization, but if you can look past that fact, this hotel is rather pleasant. The rooms are a bit small, but they're contemporary and relaxing and have broadband internet access. There are incredible views over the French Concession and you can go swimming in the indoor swimming pool. Dining choices include Chinese and Thai restaurants. If you feel so inclined, you can hang out in the karaoke rooms. There are discounts of up to 30% that you can get.
