Basic but nice hotel right on the wonderful tram system which goes to the centre of town and the railway station (both about 5 minutes away, 1.

The hotel is well situated, about a 20-30min walk from the city centre (Place de la Comédie) or 10mins on the tram.

We tried a second room - this one had not been cleaned since the departure of the last occupant (bed undone, dirty towels.

However the room was a good size and very clean as was the bathroom, although the shower was a little on the small side.

Booked a weekend in Montpellier with my husband -when we arrived the hotel offered us a room with 2 single beds which were of different heights.

The third room we tried (again with 2 single beds) had large ugly stains on the carpet by the kitchen.

We went in early september and the room was so stuffy even with the windows open, I dread think how hot it is in the middle of the summer!

We were a little worried as we were due to arrive after reception closes, however we telephoned the hotel and they are were very helpful.

All of the staff were friendly and spoke good english.

Disappinted both by the hotel standard & by the attitude of staff which was not at all accomodatng.

Nous avons tous les deux été déçus par cet hôtel standard et par l’attitude du personnel qui n’était pas du tout accommodant.

New and clean with a well equiped little "kitchen" in the room.

New and clean with a well equiped little "kitchen" in the room. Little noise from the street and generally quiet. The only noise came from other guests (Portuguese and American students) who decided to talk to each other by shouting to each other out of the windows rather than walking down the corridor and talking face to face: no doubt the management will teach them some manners!
