We loved the central location to Barcelona, its a very very well located hotel and rooms were very clean.

Excellent location since you get good night sleep even you're located just few minutes from La Rambla.

Taxis stopped right in front of the hotel, and the Placa de Catalunya is a 10 minute walk, where you can find the Bus Turistic, buses to the airport and the metro.

Close enough to explore the Barri Gotic, Cathedral, Placa Catalunya etc without taking the metro or a taxi, and about 30 minute walk to Barceloneta beach.

The room was a very good size and there was plenty of space in the living and bed rooms.

This time we were travelling with our 12 year old daughter and all the other hotels we tried nearby said that to put a 3rd bed into a double room would make it very cramped.

The location couldn't be better and the studio was roomy and clean with a well-appointed sitting room, kitchen, and plenty of shelf-space in the bathroom.

Sunday early morning and most food stores were closed the whole day, as were most good (non-touristy) restaurants.

We went across to the Champion supermarket directly across the road and stocked up on breakfast items and drinks which we were able to store in the rooms fridge.

Excellent location to explore city, near the hotel is the Resturant Egipte and very nice staff on reception you arrive.

Also, it's good to see that they have a sense of history and have a picture of George Orwell in the Lobby, opposite his sniper position on the roof of theTeatre Poliorama during the Spanish Civil War.
